The Story

In 2003 we were no longer interested pursuing domestic audio loudspeakers as a business direction.

Our cinema technology, Hypacoustic™ was becoming our main focus, plus the Arvus Research™ division was developing at an increasing rate.

Like all passionate inventors & designers the mind never stops. I personally knew that there was something I still needed to say with the traditional stereo loudspeaker and have been working on this design for years.

The catalyst was in early 2007 when a good friend and customer offered to purchase the first Prerenaissance if we promised to build it.

Parallel to this, we have been driving the realization of our new loudspeaker technology called Renaissance Loudspeaker Technology (RLT) since 1997, and have continued to invest greatly in its development.

RLT is unlike current loudspeaker technology and still requires continued development. We plan to release the first loudspeaker using this technology in a few years.

So, the Prerenaissance is the culmination of 25 years of loudspeaker passion and discovery. 

It's release marks the Silver Jubilee of our business and showcases all that is Arvus.

It will be our last two-channel loudspeaker product using traditional loudspeaker technology.
